QC Test Engineer (Automation)

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements and functionality
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools
• Identify and report software defects in a clear and concise manner
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation testing process
• Willing to learn new skills and tools

Your Skills and Experience

• 2–3 years experience developing end-to-end automation tests for web applications using tools such as Playwright
• Experience creating and maintaining test scripts in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Strong experience with manual regression, functional, and exploratory testing
• Willingness to perform manual testing when required
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases for enterprise software systems, and gathering business requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• A strong team player — able to work closely with the senior test engineer, fellow software testers, and developers to achieve effective test coverage.
• Embraces a shift-left mindset
• Basic knowledge of SQL database
• English: At least average reading and writing skills, along with basic verbal communication

The following is considered highly advantageous

• Experience with GitHub (or equivalent git-based versioning BitBucket etc)
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification
• Experience working with Agile methodology and project/test management tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail)
• Knowledge of writing BDD test cases
• API testing experience (e.g., Postman)
• Basic understanding of AI concepts
