QC ENGINEER

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure a full understanding of the project scope and specifications

• Write and develop test cases for assigned projects which ensure that the project meets the specifications

• Review and update the test cases as scope changes or enhancements are made

• Run system testing on assigned projects to ensure the final product is delivered to specifications

• Record detailed information of test results

• Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved

• Continual review of the system testing procedure and making improvements/suggestions

• Work with multi-systems such as eCommerce, OMS, IMS (inventory management system),… with the support of software engineers, business analysts and application specialists.

• Communicating with other team members to solve problems

• Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.

• Working closely with engineering team based in distributed locations in Australia & Vietnam.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• 3+ years of testing experience in software development projects

• Executing testing with Scrum/Kanban delivery methodologies, preferably in Jira.

• Experience with modern testing frameworks and tools.

• Experience performing functional/non-functional testing – system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, load /performance testing, security testing.

• Experience performing API testing via Postman, Insomnia,…

• Experience working across multi-systems such as eCommerce, OMS, ERP, inventory management system,…

• Experience creating, reviewing test plans, test cases in the early stages of projects.

• Carefulness, good at logical thinking, critical thinking and attention to details

• Basic knowledge of Database/ SQL

• At least average English reading and writing skills

The following is considered highly advantageous:

• Experience checking errors application logs, databases, running bash commands on Linux machine are an advantage.
