FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in development efforts in an Agile development environment.
• User markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
• Maintain, improve and develop new user-facing features.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and graphic designer to enhance usability.
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Report to the Project Manager and Technical Lead.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Have 2y+ of working experience as a Front-end developer and 1y+ working experience with ReactUS or Angular US.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript.
• Experience developing with prototype frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.).
• Good understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS and LESS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop.
• Familiarity with source control such as GIT.

Besides that,

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving benchmarks.
• Clear, concise communication, along with logical/analytical skills.
• Have experience managing timelines and task priority.
• Have a competent judgment to inform problems to leaders/management on time.
• Good reading and writing in English.

The following is considered highly advantageous:

• Fluent in communicating in English.
• eLearning domain experience.
• Good understanding of programming principles & patterns.
