SOFTWARE MANUAL QA TESTER

Your responsibilities will include

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Develop, maintain, execute test cases and estimate for the assigned effort.
• Log defects and track to closure, work with the development team to establish defect validity, cause and retest as required.
• Perform DB testing and write the simple to medium complexity SQL queries.
• Conduct pre-releasing testing.
• Perform smoke testing, regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixes.

To be successful in this role you must have

• Proven 1y+ experience as QA tester or similar role.
• Working skills in developing and maintaining testing documentation.
• Good attention to detail, with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of the software test cycle process.
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Ability to learn quickly and effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

The following is considered highly advantageous

• Professional certification in software testing or quality control is an advantage
• Experience in TestRail or equivalent is a plus
