Job Description

• Prepare, maintain & execute Test Plans following the Business Requirements & Quality Process
• Estimate and feedback to the Tech Lead/QCM/PM for project scheduling purposes
• Teamwork and highly responsible for the assigned tasks
• Continual improvement of the system testing procedure
• Strong attention to detail and ensures high-quality delivery of own tasks
• Do peer review for scenarios of high complexity
• Manage QA documentation for small- to medium-sized processes or guidelines

Responsibilities

• Ensure that high quality and compliance with requirements are maintained at all stages of the software delivery cycle.
• Prepare, maintain & execute Test Plans following the Business Requirements & Quality Process, in conjunction with the Project Manager/Product Owner/Development team.
• Develop thorough test scenarios and test cases based on user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with developers, business analysts/product owners, and stakeholders to suggest improvements to specifications for the platform and projects.
• Raise and monitor the project and system-related defects and ensure thorough testing is done to deliver quality software.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to develop a strong understanding of testing objectives.
• Provide estimates and feedback to the Tech Lead/QCM/PM for project scheduling purposes.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead/QCM/PM to improve our procedures and offerings consistently.
• Work in a constantly evolving agile environment.
• Willingness to learn new technology skills to keep pace with the improvements in the testing process.

To be successful in this role, you must have

• 3-5+ years of testing experience in the software testing life cycle, QA processes, and the software release cycle
• Proficient in writing and reviewing test cases and test results, with the capability to develop comprehensive test plans
• Ability to analyse feature updates/new features and identify areas for regression testing
• Ability to transform high-level test scenarios into test cases
• Experience working within an agile development environment.
• At least average English reading and writing skills
• A working understanding of Database/SQL
• Good sense of teamwork and highly responsible for the assigned tasks
• Careful, good at logical thinking, critical thinking, and attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Ability to perform API testing via Postman.

The following is considered highly advantageous:

• A background in coding experience in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting language such as C#.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as SpecFlow and others
• A working understanding of Azure DevOps and Git.
• Knowledge of Azure CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Testrails
