QC ENGINEER

You might be involved from the early stage of the development, so we will count on your experience to contribute to the Architectural, Design, Development, and Process decisions and directions.

You will develop enterprise-level systems using the Microsoft stack and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure,..)

You will be familiar with common design, implementation patterns, principles, and best practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
• Develop, maintain, execute test cases, and estimate for assigned effort
• Log defects and track to closure, working with the development team to establish defects. validity, cause, and retesting as required
• Experience in DB testing and in writing simple to medium-complexity SQL queries
• Conduct pre-release testing
• Perform smoke testing, sanity testing, regression testing, and verifying claimed bug fixes

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Proven 2y+ experience as a QC tester or similar role
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira, Azure
• Working skills in developing and maintaining testing documentation
• Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• A strong understanding of the software test cycle process
• Ability to work independently and also in a team settings
• Ability to learn quickly and effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good experience in manual testing for web-based applications
• Experience in API testing and using API testing tools Postman, SoapUI…
• Basic knowledge of UI and UX

The following is considered highly advantageous:

• Professional certification in software testing or quality control is an advantage
• Experience in TestRail or equivalent is a plus
• Experience in writing scenarios with Gherkin syntax
